New Digital Age
I did not take this picture. The credit goes to Edward Rudge who also has a blog entry with this picture and you can find the original photo in the link above. I picked this photo because it is a reoccurring theme in my life. Most recently it was talked about in the documentary we saw in class and it made me think about how the younger generation is learning and using technology such as Iphones, Ipods, Ipads, etc. My niece and nephew use my sister and brother-in-laws Iphones to access Netflix and they can even scroll through the different movies and pick a show they like which is most likely spongebob. The interesting part about this is that they are only three years old and they already have this knowledge of this type of technology that it takes many people years to figure out fully. Another example would be cousin in New York who has an ipod touch and she is five but she already has a lot of games that she can play and understands. It is amazing that the younger generation is getting introduced to this technology at an early age and able to use this technology. It shows that children now-a-days are going to grow up with even more technology and maybe even have it introduced into the classrooms.
